Philip McAllister is the Director of Mobile Development at Gowalla and the developer of the award winning Gowalla for Android app. He has worked in the software industry for over a decade, specializing in scalable web, mobile, data visualization, and information security. He is a graduate of the University of Tulsa and a resident of Austin, TX.

Principal investigator for NRL’s wireless network visualization project sponsored by the Office of Naval Research. Secured over $400k in funding. Selected as primary tool for wireless visualizations for DoD.
